Kerry Hallam Designs Poster for Nantucket Wine Festival

Greenwich, CT – The art of Kerry Hallam will once again grace the poster for the Ninth Annual Nantucket Wine Festival, which will take place on Nantucket from May 18 – 22, 2005. Hallam, a longtime Nantucket resident, has created the artwork for this poster for eight years, since 1998. He paints an original work of art with a wine theme, commissioned especially for the Festival, and it is produced into a promotional poster which is always sought after as a memento of the festival.

The poster is available, in both signed and unsigned versions, through the Wine Festival website (www.nantucketwinefestival.com), along with a limited supply of posters from previous years

Over the past nine years the Nantucket Wine Festival has blossomed into one of the region's most celebrated wine and food events. It includes a Winemaker’s Symposium, a Grand Tasting, a charity auction and gala dinner, wine and food seminars, winery lunches and dinners, and wine tastings in local homes. Over 150 wineries from around the world will be represented. A highlight of the event is the guest appearances by well known vintners and chefs from wineries and restaurants, who travel to Nantucket to share their love of wine and food. Hallam is featured along with these popular “foodie” personalities as among the “Luminaries” on the wine festival website.

Chalk & Vermilion Fine Arts, one of America’s foremost publishers of contemporary fine art prints and sculpture, represents a number of today’s most popular artists from around the world, such as Fanny Brennan, Erté, Kerry Hallam, Liudmila Kondakova, Thomas McKnight, and Bruce Ricker.
