The immense poster of the painting La Réconnaissance Infinie by Magritte, is presently gracing the streets and the underground of Paris announcing the Magritte retrospective at the Galerie Nationale du Jeu de Paume. La Réconnaissance Infinie, is one of the paintings lent by David and Leslee Rogath to the museum for its retrospective. The Magritte retrospective will run from February 11 to June 9, 2003.

Eva Rogath-Silbert and Maria Saraceno Ward stand in front of the billboard-size poster of “La Réconnaissance Infinie” used to announce the Magritte retrospective at the Galerie Nationale du Jeu de Paume in Paris.

In addition to La Réconnaissance Infinie, the Rogaths, owners of Chalk & Vermilion Fine Arts, have lent several other important Magritte paintings to the museum for the retrospective. The four paintings, La Réconnaissance Infinie, La Valse Hésitation, La Légende Doré, and La Découverte de Feu, are part of the personal art collection of Mr. and Mrs. Rogath.
